We began with a comprehensive brand audit, studying perceptions of Tribina Group and its F&B portfolio to identify how Raku could establish a distinct position in the market. The research revealed an opportunity to bring a more elegant and authentic approach to teppanyaki, creating an experience that feels minimalist, genuine, and pleasantly refined. These insights became the foundation for shaping Raku’s brand direction and visual identity.
Visual Identity & Implementation
At the heart of Raku’s identity is its logo, a modern interpretation of warmth and connection. The mark combines three key elements: the symbol of fire, the rectangular form of the teppan, and the kanji-inspired character “Raku,” meaning happiness. Presented with a contemporary touch, the logo captures the warmth and joy that emerge when fire, flavor, and togetherness come alive at the table. Egghead also extended the identity from signage to menus, packaging to interiors, ensuring the brand feels consistent, elegant, and full of soul across all visual touchpoints.
